Words of Hope is a radio ministry with a soul purpose to proclaim Jesus Christ through broadcasting in the languages of the world's peoples, seeking with our partners in ministry to build the church by winning the uncommitted in our community and neighborhood to faith in Christ and by encouraging Christians in the life of discipleship.

To build the Church of Christ worldwide through broadcasting.

NB:Radio is universally available; it reaches large numbers of people, including those who are illiterate or living in “closed” areas of the world; and as a word-centered medium it is uniquely suitable for conveying the message of the Bible and its implications for all of life.

Specific objectives of Words Of Hope

Radio Ministries Uganda

1. To produce Biblically focused radio programs in the languages commonly spoken in Uganda and the neighboring Countries for the purpose of Introducing people to Christ and providing Christian commentary on issues of importance in people’s lives
2. To reach people in Boarder areas around Uganda and refugees in Uganda in their respective languages with messages of Jesus Christ
3. To encourage one another in the production of Biblically based radio programs
4. To provide a wide range of programs that focus on holistic mission and community development in a variety of life circumstances for Christians and non-Christians alike
5. To promote radio program of excellent quality by producing, engaging, creative culturally relevant, biblically balanced Christian focused programs
6. To provide opportunities for students at UCU to learn to produce programs with excellence
7. To share news of events and perspective within the church of Uganda
8. To address significant social and cultural issues in society from a Biblical perspective
9. To establish a physical facility on the Diocesan setting which shall house the services of a Christian production studio and the studio station which can be used as a tool to reach out to the unreached community with the Gospel of Christ.
